BEYOND BURGER REVIEW - PLANT-BASED PATTIES

We’ve all heard of the health and environmental benefits of eating less meat, but sometimes you just crave a juicy burger.  Is there a meatless alternative that tastes as good as the real thing?  We tested many vegetarian options that fell flat.  Finally, we found a winner.

 

In May 2016, Beyond Meat released their first plant-based burger.  It’s called The Beyond Burger.  It contains a whopping 20 grams of protein.  The main source of protein is from peas, but trust us, it does not taste like peas!  It’s also GMO, Gluten and Soy-free.  Simply grill or pan fry it for just 3 minutes per side.  With a bun and your favorite toppings,

we doubt you can tell the difference and a cow just might kiss you!
